Female Protagonist Fest is aimed at any and all games featuring women in the leading role.

Entries are not ranked, and submission is only for the purposes of interacting with the community.

Using generative AI is specifically**allowed**.

Posting prototypes and unfinished versions is encouraged to let the community give their two cents on what they want to see.

You may update your submission during the fest. Devlogs are strongly encouraged to let people know bugs have been fixed or features have been added.

The jam runs for half a year. The intent is not to drop a game once and disappear. The intent is to publish, discuss, get feedback, iterate, publish a new version, repeat.

Platform and genre are unrestricted.

The only criteria for the jam is to celebrate women. Every game should have a female lead or leads. A woman as a secondary lead to a male character is insufficient. A woman must be the primary lead.

I reserve the right to remove submissions that come off as hateful toward women or minorities. This jam is intended as a safe space.
