Aside from a few basic guidelines, this jam has NO rules! You can use any tools, in any way, at any time.

You can choose to give yourself a theme or not and/or use a theme generator likethis one! (https://letsmakeagame.net/game-jam-theme-generator/)

This jam runs for exactly one year, but that isn't so you can work on a game for a year straight!

This jam is meant to allow you to choose timing that works for YOU, as well as how strict you want to be...So whether it be working on a game for 48 hours straight, 72 hours over the course of the month, a prototype over the course of a week, giving yourself UNLIMITED time, or anything in between, you're the boss!

Obviously there have to be a FEW guidelines to keep this jam a safe environment for everyone.

No NSFW/Discriminative content.

If your game has violence, make it OBVIOUS to the player BEFORE they start the game. (AKA include a warning.)

This isn't REQUIRED, but consider adding a horror warning to scary games.

Anyone, at any age, from anywhere, can join.
